What good is having an item that ramps up your attacks if you’re not given some new enemy faces to smash into paste? Obviously the Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance expansion is going to be bringing new creatures to fight, but now we’ve gotten a bit of a closer look at what some of those look like along with some other sneak peeks by way of another trailer.

The footage once more provides more looks at the boost bracer and some hints at the storyline that will weave through the multiplayer RPG, including our little boy Nata all grown up and working alongside a Wudwud, but the new critters are certainly the stars of the show, such as the flying Araketas that attack in a formation and an immense storm-wielding serpent elder dragon known as Gundoraja. There are also some returning critters on display like the Kushala Daora and Lao-Shan Lung.

Meanwhile the video parade has continued out of Capcom as expected, with additional vignettes that show off the boosted attacks for the bow, dual blades, light bow gun, charge blade, and hammer. We’ll not link all of those below because there are 13 more such videos coming later and that is just way too many embeds, but the most recent main trailer is indeed waiting below.
