ASUS today announced that the ASUS ZenWiFi BN12, the world's first WiFi 8 mesh router, originally unveiled at Computex, is now shipping. It combines ultra-high reliability with intelligent mesh coordination to deliver stable, efficient, and seamless connectivity throughout the modern smart home. The ZenWiFi BN12 is a tri-band model delivering speeds of up to 19 Gbps, featuring advanced WiFi 8 technologies including new Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) rates, Unequal Modulation (UEQM), Non-Primary Channel Access (NPCA), and Multi-Access Point Coordination.
Modern homes rely on an increasing number of connected devices across multiple rooms and floors, making consistent coverage and reliable connectivity more important than peak speed alone. The ZenWiFi BN12 combines WiFi 8 technology with Smart AiMesh, intelligent traffic optimization, and enhanced network visibility to provide stable connections across the home, even in demanding multi-device environments. Ultra-high-reliability WiFi 8 offers improved mid-to-long-range throughput, wider IoT coverage, and more consistent whole-home connectivity. Read full story
